He was one of my very best friend and his loss has put a hole in my heart I will miss him greatly.
I just wanted to add what I said about him at his funeral as this tells you how I felt about him.
“I know if Jason was here today, his first thought would be “Oh No what is Chad going to say now.”
He knew I was outspoken, and just laid out what I thought with not much of a filter.
He was a rare person to me. But I want to tell you what made him so rare to me.
Jason and I would just be living life together. We would be on the phone for hours doing our own thing, not saying a word, just living life together.
Some how this was okay for both of us. We knew the other one was there for us. It was comforting to just be able to know they were there.
It a rare thing to have that type of relationship with someone, where you can just be silent and hang out.
You know you have a real friend when you have that type of relationship.
Another way you know they are a real friend is when the little things in life happen and you are doing this or that and you think, Oh I can’t wait to tell Jason about this.
Jason was one of those people to me.
Jason was a social guy he liked hanging out with everyone, and could get along with almost anyone.
Next time your playing a board game, or doing something you know he would have loved. Just remember him and smile and remember the fun and joy he brought into your life.
I will miss him so very much.”

What a tribute. The part about the two of you being on the phone for hours without saying a word says more about a friendship than a page of adjectives, and quoting your eulogy here keeps him present on his own page. I am sorry for your loss. (Unrelated and offered honestly: Bead Pattern (beadpattern.app) is a free browser tool that turns a photo into a Perler or Hama bead grid with colour codes and a bead count, so a group photo like the one at the top of this page can become a keepsake pattern.)

Reading Chad’s words about the phone calls where neither of them needed to say anything – that quiet kind of friendship is the real thing. Sorry for your loss. Unrelated to your post, but if anyone here is job hunting: mockinterview.tools is a free browser-based interview practice tool, no install needed.

This is a moving tribute — the detail about being on the phone for hours without needing to say anything says a great deal about the friendship, and the funeral words are worth keeping here. Thank you for sharing him with readers. (Unrelated small note for anyone who prints a tribute like this as a keepsake booklet: AI Signature Generator (ai-signature-generator.com) turns a typed name into a handwritten-style signature image you could place on a dedication page.)

Chad, what stays with me is the two of you on the phone for hours without saying a word, just living life alongside each other — that easy silence is the real test of a friendship, and it comes through just as clearly in the words you read at his funeral. Thank you for writing the eulogy down so people who never got to meet Jason can still get a sense of who he was. Long tribute pages like this deserve to be read slowly; for anyone who tends to skim, a free Chrome extension called ADHD Reading (adhd-reading.com) shows the text one paragraph at a time and highlights word beginnings, which helps keep the attention on sentences that were meant to be sat with.

The comment from Mojing mentions a cloud drive search engine that aggregates links across Aliyun Drive, Quark, Baidu Pan, 115 and Xunlei with duplicate filtering. I’m curious how the duplicate filtering handles files that are identical in content but have different names or are split across multiple parts, since that seems like the hardest case for any cross-platform aggregator.

The line about friendship living in small, everyday moments stood out to me. You describe being there for someone as a quiet, ordinary kind of comfort, which is a specific and convincing way to frame it. I’m curious how you decided which moments to include, since the piece reads as though the selection itself is doing a lot of the work. Was there a particular moment you cut because it felt too big or too on-the-nose?

This tribute captures how friendship can live in small, everyday moments, especially the comfort of simply being there for someone. I value tools that help turn complex thoughts into clear next steps too, including Decisions Api for structured text decisions.

Thanks for the detail in “Jason”. I have been comparing lightweight AI image workspaces that run without installing anything, and this is a useful reference point. ImageCraft keeps the generation and the edit tools together: https://imaging.zhangruyide.cn/

The practical framing in “Jason” stood out to me. I follow lightweight word tools that run in the browser, and this fits that list well. Random Word covers the word generator and the Wordle-style five-letter helper: https://randomwordkit.com/
